An initiative by Emmanuel Haggai

A proper website for a business that deserves one.

My goal is to help 1,000 Kenyan businesses get websites designed around how they actually work. If a professional website is currently beyond your budget, tell me about your business and what you can afford.

1,000businesses is the long-term goal
Why this exists

Good work should not be hidden because a website costs too much.

I meet business owners who depend on WhatsApp, social media and word of mouth. Their work is solid, but a professionally built website is often out of reach. The cheaper alternative is usually a rushed template that looks like everybody else's.

This programme is my practical response: I reduce the development cost for selected businesses and build each site around what its customers need.

Who can apply
An operating business in Kenya without a suitable professional website.
What I subsidize
Website planning, design and development for an agreed scope.
What you pay
Your agreed contribution, plus the domain and hosting costs.
What applying means
I will review the proposal. It is not a promise that the project will be selected.
How it works

Four steps. No automatic selection.

There is no fixed application deadline. I take on projects as capacity and funding allow.

  1. 01
    Complete the application

Give me enough detail to understand the business, the website you need and the amount you can contribute.

  2. 02
    I review it

I look at the need, whether a website can make a useful difference, and whether the work is a good fit.

  3. 03
    We speak

If the application is shortlisted, I contact you by your chosen phone method to clarify the project.

  4. 04
    We agree before building

Selected businesses receive a written scope, contribution and recurring costs before any work starts.

Questions people ask

Does every applicant receive a website?

No. I review applications individually. Selection depends on need, project fit, available capacity and the difference a website could make.

Is the website completely free?

Not necessarily. I subsidize the development cost based on the business and agreed scope. The business pays its agreed contribution, domain and hosting.

Do I need technical knowledge or finished branding?

No. Explain the business in your own words. If you are shortlisted, we can discuss the logo, photography and written content together.
